News Puppetmaster Revealed as Final Job in Treasures of Aht Urhgan!

The FINAL FANTASY XI development team had a big surprise for attendees of Fan Festival 2006 after the second panel on Friday! As the lights dimmed, and everyone focused on the two large projection screens, a Galka ran zigzags across the screen. As the Galka got closer players started to realize that there was something following him. Finally the Galka was front and center wearing never-before-seen equipment and accompanied by something else. The screen faded and the word "Puppetmaster" flashed across the screen!

The third and final job debuting in the Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion was revealed and the crowd went wild. The Puppetmaster uses an "automaton" follower and falls back on their skill in hand-to-hand combat utilizing the flexible movements of their art. Images of the job can be found on the official Aht Urhgan website along with an exciting new trailer for the expansion which premiered at Fan Festival. Be sure to check both of those out!
