of Xenogears is a large and diverse one. As players progress in the game,
they will travel through land as mysterious as dark forests and endless
deserts to places as exotic as underwater caverns and giant floating cities.
To enhance and better depict a player's surroundings, Xenogears utilizes
a completely 3D environment. Using the shoulder buttons, a player can pan
around their location to assist them in their exploration. Since the point
of view changes depending on what direction you are viewing it from, a more
immersive environment is created where players must pay attention to their
surroundings or risk missing something important. |
