Welcome to Slimeblog

Welcome to the beginning of Slimeblog. I’ll be your host, Truman B. Fitzgerald, Square Enix’s resident marketing slime.

“But Truman, I thought you had to be a slime to be in marketing!”

Not true! Most of us really are decent people.

I actually am a blue slime. (In fact, Blue is my middle name. My parents didn’t put a whole lot of thought into it.) I am also the only slime at Square Enix’s Los Angeles office.

And I would also like to preempt the comments accusing me of not being a slime because I don’t use slimetastic comments like the Slimenians of DRAGON QUEST HEROES: ROCKET SLIME™. Rocket Slime is a game. I am a person. Who happens to be 11 inches tall and gelatinous. You wouldn’t give the moogle in accounting a hard time for not ending every sentence with “kupo,” so cut me some slack.

My profile has a bit more about me if you’re still interested, but this blog isn’t about me. This blog is your chance to see how games get from our office to your home. Or at least one game. I guess every game is a little different. And I’ve only been here a couple months. But for the past few months and the coming few months more, I have been and will be working hard to make sure North America knows everything they need to about DRAGON QUEST® HEROES: ROCKET SLIME™!

Be part of the phenomenon that launched Rocket Slime!

¡Viva el Cohete del Limo! ¡No puedo hablar español!

And for the couple thousand Québécois who were nice enough to visit our web site last month, Je parle même moins français que l’Espagnol! Rocket Slime, oui!
